Meet Alexis Stefano
2026 Graylag Artist Residency
We’re thrilled to welcome Alexis Stefano as a member of our 2026 Artist in Residence program! She will be joining us at the end of August, and we can’t wait for her to work alongside our community.
Alexis will be hosting her event, Painting Landscapes With Textures, during her stay. Registration and more information can be found below!
Alexis Stefano is a self-taught, fine artist based in North Conway, NH. Her multi-disciplinary creative practice combines watercolor and dry media— drawing inspiration from the White Mountains where she is lucky to live and work immersed in the natural world.
Originally from the Greater Boston area, Alexis graduated from Northeastern University‘s behavioral neuroscience program in 2017 and later studied graphic design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She moved to the Mt. Washington Valley in 2021 to be closer to the mountains. She has since become an active member of the arts community and the executive director of the Mt. Washington Valley Arts Association.
Outside of her art practice, Alexis enjoys climbing, hiking, skiing, and watching the hummingbirds on her porch. On rainy days you can find her curled up on the couch knitting.
