Graylag Video Exploration Series

We are fortunate that among the friends of Graylag are many excellent naturalists who share their expertise with us.

Curious about the sounds from a nearby wetland? As Mark West explains, this is the sound of the male wood frog, calling for love. Mark is a wetland scientist and Graylag board member who brought his nets (and a handy multi-purpose frisbee!) to Graylag in April to investigate.

Six weeks later, in late May 2020, Mark returned to the vernal pool to check out what had become of April’s calling wood frogs.

Join UNH’s Speaking for Wildlife program to learn about twelve common wildlife species and where you might find them at Graylag.
