Meet Sophia Li

Please help us welcome photographer Sophia Li to our 2025 Artist in Residence cohort at Graylag! During her time at Graylag, she will offer a workshop on Botanical Blueprints: Exploring Cyanotype Printing. Space is limited so be sure to register!

Based in Boston, Sophia is passionate about authentic storytelling and the beauty of slow living. Her journey with chronic health conditions sparked a deep interest in wellness and the healing power of food. This now inspires much of her photographic work.

Her images explore the relationship between culture, nature, and our everyday choices. She encourages people to see their surroundings with fresh eyes and deeper presence. When she’s not behind the lens, you’ll find Sophia volunteering on organic farms, collecting dried flowers and ceramics, or tracking down the best gluten-free pastry around.
